A note about Drupal updates A few users have mentioned that you weren&#8217;t always required to state &#8220;please publish&#8221; or &#8220;still working&#8221;, etc. in the revision log. I tend to err on the side of caution, and am loath to publish something prematurely. Moving forward, please include &#8220;Please publish&#8221; (or &#8220;don&#8217;t publish!&#8221;) in the revision log along with your changes. Then I won&#8217;t have to bug you via email! The <a href="http://www.emerson.edu/sites/default/files/Files/Training/training-drupal-general-editing-manual.pdf" target="_blank">Drupal manual</a> has been updated as well.</p>
<h3>Design</h3>
<p>The design of Drupal 7 is very similar to the previous version. However, you will notice that the login screen looks like the emerson.edu website and the background of the Drupal editor is light blue.</p>
<h3>View/Edit Revisions</h3>
<p>When one clicks on a page to edit, instead of being taken to the revisions page, you will be directly taken to the most recent revision. This should save you a step.</p>
<p>However, if you need to edit or view a previous revision:</p>
<ol start="1">
<li>Find the page you are looking for.</li>
<li>Click on <strong>Revisions</strong> in the top tab.<br />
<a href="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/revisioning.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-424" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="revisioning" src="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/revisioning.jpg" alt="" width="386" height="47" /></a></li>
<li>Find and click on the date of the revision that you would like to view:<br />
<a href="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/revisioning31.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-431" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="revisioning3" src="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/revisioning31.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="327" /></a></li>
<li>Click <strong>Edit</strong><br />
<a href="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/revisioning2.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-425" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="revisioning2" src="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/revisioning2.jpg" alt="" width="386" height="47" /></a></li>
</ol>
<h3>Templates</h3>
<p>When editing a page, the Templates icon used to add a template to a page or right promo (ex: photo with caption or purple header promo)  has changed:</p>
<p><a href="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/templates.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-426" style="border: 1px solid black;" title="templates" src="http://press.emerson.edu/webservices/files/2013/01/templates.jpg" alt="" width="23" height="21" /></a></p>
<p>Templates for Generic Pages, News Articles and Right Promos are now all in the same list. Right promo template names have changed slightly to better differentiate which template is used for which content type, ex: <strong>Photo Promo</strong> is now<strong> Right Promo: Photo</strong></p>
<h3>Log Messages</h3>
<p>To write a log message:</p>
<ol start="1">
<li>Scroll to the bottom of the page</li>
<li>Select <strong>Revision Information</strong> in the tabs, if it is not already selected.<br />
