Emerson Alumnae headed to the Superbowl!

Recent Emerson College graduate, Cassidy Quinn Brettler, is going to the Super Bowl! Cassidy is also a sister of my sorority (Alpha Epsilon Phi), so I could not be more proud of her! Football player Chad Ochocinco and Motorola created a contest to send someone to cover the Super Bowl for the Ochocinco News Network (OCNN). Pretty legit.

The 22-year-old has made a name for herself for her insane social media skills.

476 subscribers and 75, 443 views on her youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/CQBrett

Three hours before the contest ended, Cassidy sent in her video and won with the most votes! OCNN is now sending her to the Super Bowl XLVI, all expenses paid.

“I hope I just get to see a ton of things that most people don’t get to see and to be able to communicate that to people. I’m super excited,” Cassidy said. (WHDH Boston)

According to BostInno, Cassidy’s schedule is jam packed already. She will be arriving on Monday and will be attending the Super Bowl Media Day on Tuesday with the Bucs DT Gerald McCoy. On Wednesday, she will visit the social media command center. Her job will be to post coverage and interviews throughout the entire week leading up to the big night. On Thursday and Friday, she will be covering the red carpet at the EA Sports party. The next day, she will have the opportunity to report from the Celebrity Beach Bowl.

“Does he throw just them in a drawer somewhere? Or does he have them hanging? Does Gisele wear one around her neck on a necklace? What do you do if you have more than one Super Bowl ring? What are you going to do with them? Maybe give one to me,” Cassidy said about Tom Brady’s Superbowl rings.

Congrats, Cassidy!
