Human Resources hosted a trip to the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain on June 10, as part of its Emerson Walks initiative.

A group of staff and faculty were led on a guided walking tour through a section of the Arboretum. The docent provided detailed information on the Arboretum’s collections including many of the trees and shrubs, while also sharing some of the Arboretum’s history. One of the many highlights, in addition to meeting the Arboretum’s current director, was seeing the “tulip tree” in bloom.

Attendees were: Peter Owens and Tricia Kennedy (Human Resources), Rhea Becker and Nancy Howell (Communications and Marketing), Maureen Tripp (Iwasaki Library), and Vicki Raschi and Angela Chang [and her daughter, Willow] (faculty).
