Yoga for Beginners Program

As part of Wellness at Emerson for 2016, Human Resources is offering a five-session yoga program for faculty and staff members. This program is geared to employees new to yoga, but employees with prior yoga experience are also welcome to attend. Concepts and principles will be reviewed as well as personalized instruction in breathing, movement, and yoga poses. This program, presented by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, will be led by licensed yoga instructor Hallie Dumont. The yoga sessions will be held on five Tuesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, starting on Tuesday, March 8. They will be held in the Cabaret on the ground floor of the Little Building. There is no charge to attend these sessions.

Understanding Your Credit Report and Score

Human Resources is offering a seminar on “Understanding Your Credit Report and Score.” This seminar, provided through Metro Credit Union, will focus on the understanding of your FICO score, including: the content of credit reports, how information is collected, who has access to the reports, and how to use and manage credit to build a positive history. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, March 9, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, in the Beard Room on the second floor of the Little Building.
