Median will be completely shut down starting on December 24th, for a period of (hopefully) only 24 hours. This downtime is required so we can move Median’s massive data store from its current place on an old storage array onto a shiny new one. What this means is all embeds, live streams, entries, podcasts, uploading, downloading, etc, on Median will not function while Median is down. Web Services will make sure that this will cause minimal disruption to the Emerson website. When the migration is complete, all services will resume as normal, and Median should perform a little faster. Winter break is the only time during the year to do this with minimal impact on the major uses of Median. If you have any questions or concerns, please leave a comment, or fill out a support request at the IT Help Center.
