A recent article published in The Metro on February 18 asked the question whether an MFA in Creative Writing was worth the cost. This question was answered and further explored by George Saunders, a creative writing professor at Syracuse University. He recently authored a collection of short stories entitled, “Tenth of December,” and appeared on the cover of New York Times Magazine. The outcome of the interview was a positive outlook for MFA students and their future.

The full interview can be read by visiting the Metro website.
