Summer and fall course registration are fast approaching! To prepare, we encourage students to:
- Resolve their holds
- Review course prerequisites and restrictions
- Obtain online permissions
These recommendations go a long way toward minimizing registration disappointment and reducing unpleasant surprises. Assistance in spreading the word to students is always appreciated!
Summer course listings are available for students on eCommon. Fall course listings will be available on March 9. Please remind your advisees to review course restrictions and prerequisites when selecting their courses!
If your office places holds that block registration, you may see an increase in student traffic soon. Please encourage students to resolve holds ahead of time. Fall registration times begin at 7:00 a.m., when most offices are closed and won’t be available to remove holds.
Summer registration opens online at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12 for both undergraduate and graduate students. Students should review the Registration Information page before registering.
Summer Tuition is due April 16. Students with outstanding summer balances will be automatically dropped from their courses. Students registering on or after April 16 must pay their balance by 11:59 pm or they will be automatically dropped.
As usual, both undergraduate and graduate students will be advised and register during the same time periods.
- Advising: March 12–23
- Registration: March 26–April 2 (registration times)
Midterm grades (undergraduate courses only) are due on Wednesday, March 21 at 12:00 noon EST. Please review the Midterm Grading Instructions and submit grades for any of your undergraduate students who currently have a grade of C- or lower.
If none of your undergraduates currently have a grade of C- or lower, please send an email firstname.lastname@example.org to record your participation in midterm grading for the semester.
Last Day to Withdraw
Tuesday, April 17 is the last day for a student to withdraw from a course or from the College.
To withdraw from a course, a student must review Emerson’s Course Withdrawal Policy and submit a completed Course Withdrawal Form to the Registrar’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on April 17.
To withdraw from the College, students should review Emerson’s College Withdrawal Policy and turn in the appropriate paperwork by 5:00 p.m. on April 17.
We Are Moving!
