Comm students gather for 9/11 Vigil

Students, faculty, friends and family of the Comm Studies department at Emerson College gathered yesterday for a 9/11 Vigil, the oldest continuous commemoration of the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Through readings from different members of the community, which included Bird Street Community Center students, Sonia Tita Puopolo, whose mother was on American Airlines Flight 11, as well as members of the Communication Politics and Law Student Association, the community was able to reflect on the historical event and the path towards healing.

The event took place at the Boston Common Gazebo, at 7pm on September 11, 2014.
